‘Helder Postiga, Tuncay Sanli’, The foreign players of ISL season 2

The most significant sign for the ISL season 2 is the
foreign players who are recruited; average age is younger than previous season.
This is one of the reason, we are seeing much faster and improved game which
showed quality recruitment. In match between FC Pune City vs Mumbai City , Pune
forward Tuncay Sanli scored a brace, Tuncay has won FIFA Confederation Cup in
2003 and was member of the EURO Cup Semifinalist squad of Turkey National Team
in 2008 it proves the enhancement of the quality of foreigners. Although Tuncay
was awarded as the Hero of the match, however Israel Gurung could be considered
as the real hero maker. Israel Gurung , the boy from Kalimpong, not only
assisted Tuncay with his excellent cross to score both the goals but also scored
the third goal of FC Pune City.

I need to mention the name of Colotto at the defense of FC
Pune City. I don’t think such a cool headed defender ever played before in
Indian football. The attacks of Moritz, Piquionne, Sony Norde or Anelka of
Mumbai City, were destroyed in front of Colotto’s hard marking and intelligent covering.

In this current season FC Pune City is a much better,
balanced and powerful side than before. I think, Atletico de Kolkata have to face
tough fight against FC Pune City to retain the trophy.
