Kalyan turned into a successful TV commentator from the 2014 FIFA World Cup for Sony Network, I-League for Ten Action and Calcutta Football League (CFL) & Indian Super League (ISL) for Star Network.
He was CEO of Mohun Bagan Football Academy (2011-2013) and Founder of Mohun Bagan Football School.
He is GOLD Medel winner and represented National SANTOSH TROPHY for Four different States like Bengal, Goa, Punjab and Jharkhand.
A cadet of the Tata Football Academy from 1989 – 1995 and later qualified coach from Asian Football Confederation.
Kalyan has flourished as an individual and a player who has won the hearts of his fans and respect from his colleagues in the game.
He has represented (1995-2010) Football Clubs like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Salgaocar FC, Mahindra United, JCT Phagwara and Mumbai FC.
He has been awarded Twice Best GOAL KEEPER of INDIA in 1998 and 2001.
Masters in Football, Kalyan Chaubey, GOLD Medel Winner in SAAF CUP and SAF Games. has represented the Indian National Football team from 1994 – 2006 at various age groups which include U-17, U-20, U-23 and the Senior National Teams as a Goalkeeper and participated in Pre-Olympics, Pre-World Cup, Asian Cup, SAF Games, SAAF CUP etc.
