Platt made 6 changes from their winning combination from last match and
was made to pay heavily for it,as FC Pune City faced their first defeat
of the season against Delhi Dynamos.While Platt was seen making a
blunder with team selection his counterpart Roberto Carlos showed great
managerial tactics to win their 2nd match in a row, using Gustavo dos
Santos very effectively.

marquee duo of Delhi,Florent Malouda and John Arne Riise, both
continued their impressive stint and were the main pillars of Delhi’s
game,controlling the whole team like a bandmaster.Malouda’s performance
earned him the title of Hero Of The Match.The other thing that went
Delhi’s way was the performance of their Indian players, with the likes
of Robin Singh,Souvik Chakraborty and Anas Edathodika playing at par
with their foreign team-mates. Robin Singh had a memorable ISL debut
,finding the net with a sublime header from a corner kick by Malouda on
24th minute of the game.Delhi scored again through Gadze ,with the
Ghanaian getting his second goal of the season, during the additional
time of the match. Pune got one back immediately after that, when Uche
scored from a Lyngdoh cross,but till then there was no time left for FC
Pune City to make a comeback.Delhi Dynamos moved to 3rd position after
this match while FC Pune City remained in the 2nd position despite the
loss , but Platt has to stick to a fixed combination for them to remain
in that position in the future.
